In January 2025, we were proud to announce our strategic partnership with Dandara Living Management, one of the UK’s leading Build-to-Rent operators.
Under a multi-year agreement, Nirvana Maintenance was appointed to deliver full hard and soft facilities management services across Dandara Living Management’s portfolio of around 4,000 homes. The portfolio spans key UK cities, including Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
This partnership marks a major milestone for Nirvana Maintenance. It positions us as the first national FM provider to deliver a full partnership model for a leading Build-to-Rent operator.
The agreement reflects Dandara Living Management’s trust in our expertise, our people-first approach, and our ability to deliver facilities management services at scale.
Our scope of work includes facilities management, maintenance technicians, cleaning, planned preventative maintenance, compliance support, and resident-focused service delivery. Each area is managed by our skilled team, with a clear focus on quality, safety, and consistency.
To support the partnership, we use specialist workforce management software to improve operational efficiency, streamline stock control, manage procurement, and support health and safety compliance. These systems give our teams stronger visibility, better control, and more time to focus on service delivery.
We have also built a dedicated Build-to-Rent team to support the needs of this fast-growing sector. This team was strengthened by the appointment of Daniel Mendez, National FM Operations Director, who brings strong industry experience and sector knowledge.
Darren Waitson, Founder of Nirvana Maintenance, said:
“We are thrilled to partner with Dandara Living Management on this landmark agreement. It reflects their trust in our ability to deliver a facilities management solution through a unique partnership model.
This collaboration reflects the strength of our tailored, people-first approach and our deep understanding of the Build-to-Rent sector. By working closely with Dandara Living Management, we have refined our processes to meet the needs of their communities.
We are proud to support their residents, their teams, and the continued growth of the Build-to-Rent sector.”
For residents, the partnership supports a better living experience through faster response times, efficient processes, and a dedicated team focused on high service standards.
For Dandara Living Management, the partnership supports operational efficiency, compliance, procurement, and service consistency across a national portfolio. It also gives their teams access to wider FM expertise and a delivery model built around the specific needs of Build-to-Rent communities.
Sam Smith, Director of Residential Management at Dandara Living Management, said:
“As we enhance our third-party management offering and strive for operational efficiencies and compliance with health and safety standards, outsourcing our facilities management services to Nirvana was a well-considered decision.
In recent months, Nirvana have proven their capability to deliver scalable, tailored solutions which enhance operational efficiency and enrich the living experience for our residents.
Their commitment to partnership, community, and customer focus aligns seamlessly with our values, and we are eager to continue our collaboration to establish new benchmarks in Build-to-Rent facilities management.”
This agreement is a major milestone in our growth journey. Over the past three years, Nirvana Maintenance has expanded sevenfold, building a strong reputation across the Build-to-Rent and residential sectors.
As more operators explore outsourced FM models, we are focused on supporting clients with practical, scalable, and resident-led facilities management solutions.
Darren Waitson added:
“Our vision is to become the leading FM brand in the Build-to-Rent sector. We are actively seeking to work with operators and investors who want to improve the BTR experience across the UK.”
This partnership reflects Nirvana Maintenance’s continued commitment to raising standards across the Build-to-Rent sector, delivering trusted FM support, improving operations, protecting communities, and enhancing the resident experience.
